Honestly....why not lay $9000 to win $100 on Dallas to win their series and another $7500 to win $100 on Detroit? I realize the humungous lines.....but unless Al Queda gets their team planes, they are winning these series

+100 on the Mavs and a day away from being +100 on Detroit....juice only counts if you lose!!! Just having fiun with this....The BoSox-Yanks is not the same....American League Championships....not bad playoff teams vs. good oones in round 1. No shot MIlwaukee wins 3 straight....not shot Memphis wins 4 straightLet it Ride

If it works for you, fine. I simply played Dallas last night giving 1 point(bought), as I had a feeling Memphis was cooked.
As stated I don't need $100 so bad that I would be willing to risk $9000 to get it, and I would venture to see that most experienced gamblers would agree.

obviously
would have to be considered a "bad bet" money wise....just stating a fact that it was a lock....and logically....no way Milwaukee wins this series so there is no risk...really....no way memphis wins 4 straight....logic dictated there was NO risk....Let it Ride

ok-I felt just as confident as yout that Dallas would wrap it up last night at virtually a pick at -120 and for a lot more money;that is the only point I was trying to make.
ps From someone who is 61 years old and followed sports since he was a kid, I would say that while chances were overwhelming that Dallas would win, there have been some instances in sports history where you thinking would have been wrong.
It comes down I guess to perception and value.Last edited by savage1; 05-02-2006, 10:55 AM.
