Saturday Baseball - Day Games then Night Games

It finally happened. Two bad bad days in a row. I went 2-4 for a loss of 11.30 units. As if this wasen't bad enough, I was wrong about Phoenix over the Lakers. That cost me big and to make it worse I also had a parley with Clev, Sacto and Phoenix all at plus 3 points. I may be a slow learner, but I will be all over Phoenix again Sunday. Back to baseball. Three early plays for Saturday.

DETROIT -1 run, -109
ARIZONA +115
COLORADO +101.

I don't let stats or numbers influence my plays but this is a good example of one team playing well and the other team playing bad, which is what I look for in finding my plays. MINNESOTA has scored more than 3 runs just one time in their last seven games. No team has scored more than 4 runs in DETROIT'S last 10 games.

Somebody wrote the other day that Phil Jackson is the reason the Lakers would win game 3 and they were right. Phoenix was taken by surprise that Kobe was passing off instead of shooting and double teaming Kobe, was leaving someone else open. I don't see that happening again. The Suns will be ready this time.

There is one other series where the higher seed, a 3 seed New Jersey, is down 2 -1 to the 6 seed, Indiana. I'm playing it the same way today, taking New Jersey -2. How this game comes out, will help me decide how to play the next Phoe/LA game.

At least my baseball is looking better today so far, with Detroit ahead 7-0 over the Twins. Make that 8-0. This was the game where the reasoning for my play really stood out.
