I couldn't disagree more. That hit was FAR from head on with the wall. He hit it at an angle and just slid down the wall. I've seen 1,000 worse accidents in the last 10 years where the driver put the window net down and climbed out. I've also seen several accidents in Nascar or lower levels where the driver died and the circumstance was NEVER like Dale Sr's. They were usually coming out of a corner with a square hit head on with the wall.
Why do you think all these other theories have been talked about for years?? Why do you think the Coroner report has been such a secret??
It's because everyone knows (including Nascar Officials) that the accident he was in didn't cause the death. They never questioned other deaths because it was clear as to how they died with their impact. [ Quote]
