Went 1-2 in baseball yesterday, 0-2 in NBA and 1-0 in NHL. Here is what I like today so far:
Twins (-140) 2 unit POD - Runelvys Hernandez got called up from AAA Omaha who is 1-4 with a 7.64 era lifetime vs the Twins. At Omaha in 3 starts, 0-1 with a 10.67 era pitching 14.1 innings and giving up 10 walks. Twins should smack him around as he is clearly not ready this year after a bad spring being out of shape. Baker has pitched decent as the Twins 5th starter going 1-1 with a 3.31 era.
Tigers (+123) - Maroth has been great this year going 3-0 with a .49 era. He has a 17 inning scoreless streak going now. Tigers playing good ball this year going 11-3 on the road.
Tigers/Angels under 8 (-115) - See above, Lackey is 2-0 with a 2.70 era last 3 starts.
Colorado (+140) - Rockies are 6-2 on the road this year and are tied for 1st in the West with a 11-9 record. Both starters got hit hard their last outing, but like the value with a Rockies over the Phillies who are 4-9 at home.
Colorado/Philly over 9.5 - See above
Reds (-125) - Arroyo is looked good for the Reds this year going 3-0 with a 3.04 era going up against the light hitting Nats. Ortiz for the Nats is 0-2 with a 7.31 era starting for Patterson today.
NHL:
Dallas (+110) - This is a must win for Dallas as they gave up the tying goal to the Avs who were shorthanded with 2 minutes left in the 3rd. Being down 0-2, Dallas better step it up or they are done.
Lots of plays today, staying away from the NBA. Good luck everyone!!
