I just ran across something and just played it myself. In every first quarter in the NBA playoff's so far the total was 50 points or more. The Detroit total is 46.5 and I just bet over that number.

The way I look at things is if it seems Too High - I like Over, Too low - Under etc......

rwall. Thanks. It was just a hunch play on the Over. I did it for 2 units, when all my baseball is for 5 units. You are right about letting the lines help you decide on totals. When I played totals more than now, in baseball the magic numbers were 6.5 and 11. IF the line was 6.5 or less, I played the under. When the line was at least 11, I played the over, except in Colorado.
