Swing and a miss yesterday. Still no explanation for that debacle. The good thing about playing dogs is that it's only a 1 unit loss, which makes it easy to put behind you.
Atlanta Braves +126 (Hudson/Glavine) - Pinnacle
This is a big game for both teams, and both send their second best pitcher to the mound. Hudson has owned the Mets in his career. The Braves are 4-0 in games he started (2-0 at home and 2-0 in Shea Stadium), including two victories over Glavine. Two of Hudson's wins were shutouts, and the other two were 7-4 and 4-3 wins. Granted the Mets lineup is improved this season, but they can't be very confident after only scoring 1 run on 3 hits against Kyle Davies.
Glavine is 2-6 against his former team (1-2 at home, 1-4 on the road) since joining the Mets. He pitched a gem against the Braves last time, a 4-1 Mets victory. Prior to that, however, the Mets had been outscored 29-15 in six straight losses.
The Braves get this win and prove they aren't going to relinquish the NL East crown easily.
