  • Monday Baseball -- Went 3-1 Easter Sunday

After a losing Saturday, it was good to come back with a 3-1 winning Sunday for PLUS 11.5 units. It's been uncanny how I have known when to play Seattle plus a run, instead of playing them on the M/L vs Boston. The two times I played Seattle plus a run they lost the game by one run. The one time I played Seattle on the Money Line, they won the game. I have no idea who will win their last game at Boston, so it's a pass. I do like one of the day games Monday and will look at the night games later today.

    DETROIT -116

    Baseball Current Record
    25-17
    PLUS 53.36 Units

Thanks for all the good luck wishes. It looks like I'm going to need them this morning. The line has moved so much that Cleveland is now the favorite. This is one time that I got the worst of the line, playing my plays the night before. We laid 116, now I see +110. I have no idea why all the money is against us, but that's not always bad. I hope.

It doesn't shock me that the line moved towards Cleveland, but the amount does. Supposedly there was a big "wiseguy" play on Cleveland, but as you say, it isn't terrible to be against a line movement.

                              Tonights Plays

I guess the Wiseguys were right with Cleveland this morning. I hate starting the night games behind, but we are tonight. I have only three plays for tonight and for one play, I am laying two runs. I checked every game these two teams played this year and only one game would have lost at minus two runs that would have tied at minus one run. That means laying the extra run hardly increases our chances of losing, although we could tie. But, ties aren't any worse than not playing the game at all.

                              FLORIDA +169
                              BALTIMORE -102
                              WHITE SOX -2 runs, -114.
