Derby Day is gonna be a whole different story, pace will be faster and 1/8 mile longer, bigger field and a sprint to that 1st turn.

First Samauri was 6 for 6 before losing in the Breeders Cup Juvinile. IMHO, Lawyer Ron doesn't win the Derby. I would like to see Bob and John win b/c of futures I got, but I think I got a good long shot if he gets into the field. This is gonna be a great Derby.

Although, u will get Lawyer Ron at a better price than 1-2, maybe 5-2 or 3-1 if your lucky 7-2

Fuck, I am out of my pick 4 after the 1st race, the one I thought would be the toughest race.

I want Bob and John to win the derby, i got him at 19-1 and 31-1 even though he'll be about 5-1 or better derby day.

I see Bob and John at no better than 6 or 8 -1 on D Day...favorite will be on the 3 or 4 -1 area...I like the Lawyer but that 1:51 and change is not gonna cut it....beware the Cat...Discreet Cat, if he runs in the Derby will be hard to beat IMO...

I actually really like Jazil if he races in the derby, he was closing in on Bob and John and if the race was longer (which the derby is) he'll catch him.

But Churchhill Downs is suppose to be a speed biased trcak (like keenland) and that is good for Sinister Minister who I LOVED yesturday.

My plan for derby day is a big trifecta ticket with a good mix of dogs and favs. As of now I don't plan to put Bob and John on top because I get $130 back if he wins anyway.

First Samauri is not going to be a horse on top for me.

The key is looking at the horses that finished 2nd 3rd or even 4th in the prep races.

if you listened to jerry baily yesterday he said churchill and keeneland are different in that churchill is not a speed track like keeneland

yes, u r right, but it is supposed to be. Its a fast track which helps speed horses like sinister minister, however, closers seem to win there.

meaiken im not sure who i like for the derby as yesterday was the first races ive seen leading up to the derby.this is the first year in a long time i have not kept up on it.ill be looking for quite a bit of help when derby day nears and i hope there will be people on here talking about it.
