    Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.

It is Wells...he is on the DL because they do not need a 5th starter for about another 10 days so it gives them some flexibility.

Papelbon is being primed for the closer spot.

it wont be paplebon thats for sure. He is the closer. Foulke is done. sox have lots of off days, i assume they will go 4 starters for the 1st 2 weeks of the season. I could be wrong but the way i see things is schilling will pitch again on sat. Wells will be back in mid april to round out the rotation. Sox might spot start someone once but i doubt it. We are talking only 2 starts max before wells is back. with the way schilling/beckett looked in game 1 i wouldnt sweat a thing @ this point IMO

no problem buddy, least i could do. i'm a geek for the sox. As you prolly are for the mets/broncos.....i was listening to a bad signal here in albany tonight of weei (sox flagship station) about the sox, 1hr show they do nightly. That is what they were discussing. said paplebon will remain the closer atleast for the time being, foulke got roughed up april 1 vs. philly and again opening day. No confidence in foulke, paplebon looked $$$ last night. if clement/schilling/wells goes out paplebon will be #5 starter and timlin would then go back to being closer. Sox are in real real good shape @ this point IMO. better to have and figure out where to put them than to not have and need to fill a hole.

watch for manny delcarmen or abe alvarez...they are young pitchers for the AAA team now but they are studs...At least one if not both will be up before the summer...as for the 5th starter theyll just go around the first four again until wells gets 100% in mid-april, you might also catch tavarez starting a game, he used to start back in the day..this is only if they are really desperate..

                LETS GO SOX

I am pissed, 3 of us at work Wednesday left work at the same time to race home to get Papelbon, unfortunaltly it wasn't me.

I offer him a trade he'll probably reject, but hoping to get a good counter offer

I offered Bill Mill (good UTL player lots of postitions) and Gatovian Gastan (decent starter) for him. Just hoping for a good counter offer
