Well, I believe one of the biggest mistakes people make in gambling is to take a loss personally. By that, I mean a lot of people would refuse to take the same team in basically the same situation after a difficult loss.
Anyways, the point of that was that I lost a tough one with the Phillies as a dog tonight, but I believe there is value with them again tomorrow as they try to avoid the sweep. Jason Marquis is at best a mediocre pitcher (though he is a very good hitter), and I think the Phils break into the win column behind Corey Lidle. Lidle is capable of shutting down a good offensive team, though he is one of the more unpredictable pitchers in the league. Pujols is on fire, but the rest of the Cardinals did very little tonight, as half their baserunners were the result of walks.
