Started today off with a nice underdog winner Cleveland +141 after sweeping the board yesterday.
A few more plays tonite, all rated 1* this early on. All plays are listing the SP for the team we are playing on unless noted.
Here are the games with some commentary:
Toronto -120. I will always play Halladay at home with this short a lay (even though its against Santana). Also, Santana an ERA over 6 last year vs. Toronto. Twins not great offensively either.
Milwaukee -160. Pirates stink, and Capuano Brewers best pitcher, and at home.
Houston -230. I know many people dont like laying this amount of juice, and would rather lay the 1.5. However, I will never lay runs with as bad an offensive team as the Astros. They cannot score. Also, Florida is essentially a minor league lineup(except Cabrera). Pettit is great at home and is healthy.
Under Houston/Florida 8 See above. Marlins will be lucky to score.
Red Sox -101 (strong play but 1* this early) Red Sox kill bad pitching, and Padilla fits that mold. Sox and Wakefield struggle at Texas, but will score enough to win.
Over Red Sox/Rangers 11 (also strong) See above again. Fighting a high total, but lots of runs tonite with this pitching matchup.
Padres +117 Like the Padres at home when + money.
Over Padres/Giants 8 Neither Estes or Morris are very good. Basically playing against two mediocre pitchers.
Angels -116 Clearly the better team, and a short lay.
A lot of plays tonite, but thats how I cap baseball. I don't force anything, just play everything I like.
GL to all on their plays tonite!
Record: 5-0 sides; 0-0 totals; 1-0 ML Parlay
