Just went to Olympic and saw Spurs went up to -2-1/2.........yet the moneyline just went down from 150 to 140. What gives?

I can understand the smart money raising the number from 2 to 2-1/2 but why would the moneyline go down and not up?

I think you have it a little backassward
The public rasied the line up tp 2½, smart money lowered the M/L to 140
