Sunday Signs of Solitude
If a team wins when it hasn't played well- it is lucky- yesterday I was playing alot of parlays and hit on 2. My late play on Utah in the 2nd half actually made the day go right. I totally missed the play on UCLA until the second half- when I noticed their bench was scoring as well as the starters and they weren't as tired as LSU. However, I am not up to earlier standards and I fear I may be hurting more than helping. I believe some of the other fine cappers on site may be on a better ride at this time and you can catch them on a hot streak.
Oh and one more thing- trying to catch Soxx in Wayne's contest- Sitting with 132 Over and the Gators hold and hold the ball- just one more basket in 2 minutes pleaseeeeeee! To no avail- Great positionin and rebounding - they will need this against UCLA
Hey-- Gators are in but after watching UCLA and its machine- I am fearing the worse for the Gators. All year UCLA has done nothing but impress me with guys out and still performing admirably. I really think LSU was tired and not in sync- but much of that was due to UCLA's defense. Florida plays defense as well but UCLA has the depth- make no mistake about it. What I fear most is the inside presence of UCLA and the position aspects of being at the right place on the court. Florida is very close to the same capabilities of UCLA - great defense- positioning- transition- but does not have the depth in the middle to bang hard all night. I can see the frustration on Noahs face right now- but I am not betting against them.
But for the moment-- Gators Rock
As most of ya know my totals are generally better than my sides- so lets see!
Phoenix/Detroit Under 210 1/2 (Wait Lines are still going up and then grab at the right time if you decide to play it)
Both teams are a bit leg weary and I will look in on this at the half as well.
