  • OK here is my LSU-UCLA situation

I win $1300 from a $25 pool if LSU wins TONIGHT (monday doesn't matter). I win NOTHING if UCLA wins since 2 other people have UCLA in the Natl Champ game , and therefore would pass me in the point total.

Here is my play to hedge with : UCLA ML +120 : 300 to win 360

Either win $1000 with LSU or 360 with UCLA.

Thought about UCLA +2, but getting more value with ML @ +120

Any other opinions on what to do?

im in the same boat as the first guy... if LSU wins i get 250 from my pool for third place. If UCLA wins I get nothing.... just gonna hedge a little and throw like 50 on UCLA ML.... lets go Tigers!!

If I were hedgin, I'd take UCLA +2, not the money line, as if LSU wins by one you cash both and if LSU wins by two, you win your first bet withlot losing anything on the hedge play. For what it's worth, I kinda like UCLA here (but just barely). Hope it works out for you

If I was hedging I would just take the moneyline. The line is so small that the chances of hitting both are microscopic. Just take UCLA +120.

I think LSU wins tonight for the record, but hedging in your position is smart.

I'm in $300 to win $360 on UCLA ML. If LSU wins, it's +1050, if UCLA wins its +360. Rooting for LSU obviously, but i'll feel like the bookie, doesn't matter who wins, I win either way...LOL!

Actually, taking the points is the best play here, IMO. The game is expected to be a defensive struggle, and points will be at a premium. I can't see either team winning by double digits, and it could easily come down to a last second shot (Darrell Mitchell has done this once already in a low-scoring game) that allows you to win both.
                  Records:

                  NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
                  NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
                  NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
                  NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
                  NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)
