I had 1000 on BC on the ML, lost that, then had 1500 on florida, only got back my intial 500, it sucked, but oh well, those are the breaks.

Ryan howard is the phillies 1st baseman, took over jim thomes spot. had 22 or so HRs in 88 games last year. Lots of power in a small home park. Definiately worth the 40 to 1 IMO

agreed that is a great bet.. personally i am taking a stab at 8-1 for the phillies to win the nl east.. they are a team that has played together, brought up in the phills organization for yrs..
the starters have no dominate guy but, they will have depth esp. if gavin floyd keeps it up and the lefty randy wolf gets healthy along with the phenom cole hamels who can be brought up in august. im not saying the phills are great but they can compete with NYM and ATL this yr and the odds are worth it!!!
