Well, I think I had the right side of both my play and my opinion yesterday, though both lost. I was definitely correct in suggesting Utah + the points, but LSU laid an egg in the first half of the other game, and nearly choked away the SU win. Anyway, on to Tuesday.
Regular Plays:
UNC -3.5 vs. Tennessee
I just don't think these teams are comparable. North Carolina has been the best team in the nation the last couple weeks, and they face a Tennessee team that is overvalued based on their history. Candace Parker is a good player, but there is no one else that could really play significant minutes for UNC.
UCONN +8
Simply hard to pass up the generous points with a UCONN team that has won 29 straight tournament games in the state of Connecticut. Duke is clearly the better team, but I can't even think about laying this number in what amounts to a road game.
