  • How much should i hedge?

I just found out I win $1750 from a bracket pool ($25) if LSU beats UCLA, doesn't matter what the result of FLA/GMU.

I was planning on hedging and betting on UCLA + 1, but how much? All of it? 1/2 of it?

Also If I can find a place to bet Final Four futures, I can take the other 3 teams ...

    Suggestions welcome...

IMHO, UCLA is the best value for the future there is at +300

You can bet any amount over $25 on LSU and u make a profit either way.
    Good Luck to everyone

    Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

bet half, bout $880 to win $800 at pinnacle they have ucla+2, u would win bout $800 either way which is a nice pickup and if LSU wins by 1 u would hit both for $2500
edification will take place pull up the reins and get outta the race.

It all depends on your comfort level in the game and your own philosophy. I would probably hedge 1/4-1/3 to be sure I won something.

If you like UCLA, bet $900 on ML to win $1089...If LSU wins you still get $850...But if you like LSU, take a shot at the $1750..

Thanks for all the input... I also found out I get NOTHING if LSU loses, so I am leaning toward A ML wager, between 1/3 and 1/2 of it... Very narrow window with the line between 1-2 pts...

I would bet about half the payout on UCLA moneyline. You are guaranteed at least $875 that way
