  • Spear Daddy's Sunday Fl/Nova Take

Be careful What you wish for!!!!
Just moments after the Nova win-
Two of Nova's assistants have been overheard in the press box about wanting the Gators to beat Georgetown so they could face them- easy pickings, those gators -much easier than the Hoyas.

Gators don't have the depth that Nova has but they will battle more on the inside- the Wildcats four-guard lineup is similar to what Kentucky was working closely with and the Gators still beat em at Kentucky. I feel Donovan wins Coach of the Year - no seniors and a host of starters leaving for the pros last year. Damn Fine job of winning the SEC and was only picked to be as low as 5th.

Notes:gators lost last year to Nova o-in the second round 75-65 in which Florida was physically manhandled. They got every rebound and every loose ball- Taurean Green said.

Villanova has 4 starters back from last year- they wanted to face Florida again and they get their wish. Florida is quite different this year- it will come down to the 3's and the foul line-some have claimed!! Florida has done very well in the defense of threes but has more work this time out to stop Nova. If Fla can defend it - they win. Watch out for what you wish for Nova!

I see the Kapt putting out his GOY on Nova- seems another disbeliever in Fla- I love it!

I am well aware of how good Nova's guards are and how the talent far exceeds Kentucky. You are right! I am also aware that I am a Gator and am biased. -That is why I do not throw my pick out- only insight.
