I would be willing to bet that all of us have played sports in our lives and we have have competitive drives to win.
I don't get negativity from fans who think that they are justified to make ignorant comments about players that show emotion.
Whether an athlete wins or loses their is always emotions involved. Especially when the player loses, people are quick to jump all over and gloat over a defeat.
If I recall last year, Memphis's Darius Washington was put up on a pedestal last year after he missed a free throw and show the nation he was human by crying on the floor.
To say that Reddick and Morrison are not team players is pure ignorance.
Why can't they be allowed to show their emotions.
Ponder these tidbits:
When is the last time you scored 40 points in a pickup hoops, much less a college game? How may of you have done more than once in a season?
When is the last time you played a hoops game and scored in double digits with a 101 temperature?
When is the last time you made 90% of your free throws in a pick up game, much less for an entire career?
When is the last time you inserted a needle in your body up to 3 times a day for week? OK so try that over a period of a year.
I would gather most of us maintained a B- or B GPA while we were in college, but were we also required to spend 50+ hours a week playing basektball and earning your scholarship.
I could go on, but I hope you get my point.
