Memphis to win the NCAA tourney. at 30-1......When to hedge???

I have Memphis 1912 to win 50010.........believe it or not......

I put this in Nov and Dec at 20-1 and 30-1 odds........

I was not going to hedge until the final four but maybe I should hedge enough to win the 1912 on UCLA ml or + the points.........

Any suggestions.......???????

if you can win 50 dimes-i would put 5 dimes on memphis opponet each game moneyline or plus the points if their a dog for the next 2 games if memp. wins next two-you probably are sill looking at 36 dimes-then i would put about 10 dimes especially if their a dog like they would be against uconn on the team they play in the final // definitely put some money in your pocket here-check with some of the oletimers for exact amounts to hedge // on ucla you will probably have to lay 7 to win 5 dimes moneyline!!

Take the other teams on the ML to make back your inital investment.

Wish I was in your shoes! I would put 2k moneyline on UCLA at +150 so if UCLA win you would lose your 1,912 but win 3k so you're up over a grand. If Memphis wins, you would want to bet on either Texas or LSU to win about 5k so if LSU/Texas wins, you're up over a grand overall. If Memphis wins and makes it to the final, bet the opponent so that either way you end up with the same profit win or lose.

Definately need to hedge, I like to think of this being a trader, always put some money in your pocket. Let us know what you decide to do and good luck!

I don't understand why you are being advised to hedge with UCLA on the Money Line. I guess it's a difference in philosophies. I'd take +4 with UCLA and try to middle this particular venture. For what amount ? Much more than you're initial investment. You should spend time carefully working out the numbers.

No.....sorry about that......no joke intended and sorry if I offended you.
It was your post that made me decide to get some opinions on this. I hope Villanova and Memphis advance all the way to the final and we both would be in great shape.
