Shaquille O’Neal (Miami Heat) – sat out last night’s 100-96 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves with sore right thumb. O’Neal injured his thumb attempting to dunk against the New York Knicks on Sunday. X-Rays on O’Neal’s thumb came out negative and he is listed as probable for tonight’s game in Detroit to face the Pistons. Oddsmakers have set the Heat as 8-point road underdogs. Marcus Camby (Denver Nuggets) – underwent an MRI on his sore left knee on Monday, results came out negative. Camby did not play in Saturday’s 109-94 win over the New Orleans Hornets and is listed as probable to return tonight against the defending champion San Antonio Spurs. Camby has averaged 13.6 ppg and 11.8 rpg for the Nuggets this season. Denver has won seven of its last 10 games ATS heading into tonight’s game. Associated Press
Allen Iverson (Philadelphia 76ers) – the All-Star guard is expected to return tonight against the Atlanta Hawks after missing the Sixers` last four games. Iverson practiced Tuesday for the first time since spraining his right ankle nine days ago. Iverson is second in NBA scoring with 33.2 ppg and leads Philadelphia in assists (7.4 apg) and steals (2.0 spg). The Sixers were 2-2 ATS without Iverson in the lineup and are 5-5 in their last 10. X-Rays were negative but the rookie center will not travel with the team to Orlando to face the Magic tonight and could miss several games with this injury. He is listed as day-to-day heading into tonight’s game hosting the Milwaukee Bucks as 3-point home favorites. Seattle has won seven of its last 10 against the spread and is 26-39-1 on the season. Knight is the Charlotte’s starting point guard and leads the team in assists with 8.8 apg. The Bobcats have won three straight ATS and seven of their last 10.
