Mets probable Jae Seo comes off four consecutive starts against Philadelphia, Atlanta twice, and Seattle. If that isn’t murderer’s row, I don’t know what is. But not only did Seo survive, he excelled. Seo allowed the Braves, Phillies, and Mariners a combined five earned runs in 28 innings going 2-0 in the four sta! rts. Seo also doesn’t walk anybody as he’s issued five free passes in five road starts this year. I watched Seo pitch in consecutive games against Atlanta and this guy is extremely competitive. Throw in the fact the visitor is 10-4 this year when Larry Vanover is the home plate umpire, and I’ll be making a wager on the underdog Mets.
