this line reminds me exactly of Penn St. v. Northwestern. Everyone and their brother was on N'western. line went from a pk to n'western -3.5 and penn st blew the doors off n'western. Vegas won huge on that game. I expect the same here. play penn st.2013 NCAA POD Record

people are on rutgers because they don't think about a teams motivation, etc in the NIT tournament. So, everyone looks at Rutgers and thinks, "man I just saw them in the big east tournament beat a decent seton hall team and now they are getting 3 points from a Big 10 team? Give me the points and the ml they win outright!"
imo rutgers won't be very motivated for this game, they could win but it won't be very easy. I pick penn stateEverybody dies, but not everyone lives.

Exactly, if you're capping this game solely based on motivation, I would give the edge to Penn St. They are usually shit when it comes to basketball so I think they're ecstatic to be playing in the NIT. Also, when I've seen line movement like this, the game ends up somewhere between the starting line and finishing line so I could see Penn St winning by 1-3.

I disagree...the motivation for Rutgers is that their coach is done when they are done. He brought them in, this is his team. I would think they would want to play for him and ride that wave of emotion. Different than Temple as Cheney is not on the sidelines, Waters is.Three Jack's Record http://www.bettorschat.com/forums/sh...10#post1323910

I am by no means a good capper, but have seen Penn st several times this year, they appear to be well coached and pretty decent. I dont understand this line at all, unless someone knows that penn is not motivated. But why would they not be. JMO, I guess I will just back off of this gameQuestions, comments, complaints:

I guess I am also one of the minority on Penn St. here. The home/road differential between these teams is sick, and I trust the oddsmakers more than the public.Records:
