Villanova to Win NCAA Tournament, When to Hedge?

Believe it or not I have $600 on Nova to win the NCAA Tournament at 20 to 1 at carib.

I got this line before the season started and before Sumpter got hurt.

Now that they are a 1 seed I see lines between 6 and 7 to 1 for them.

Question is... When do you start to hedge? Sweet 16? Elite 8?

Do I bet other teams on ML or With the spread?

Id like to take something home from this bet, and figure when and If they get to the Elite 8 possibly against BC, they might just be a PK... What to do, What to do...

you know more about Nova than I being form Philly, but I DO NOT think they are a final 4 team.

Being a Nova grad, I say hedge when they play BC...they should make it to the Sweet Sixteen rather easily as Wisky/Zona do not scare me (having said that, they will probably get crushed).

I was thinking the same Three... I'll probably put 2K on BC, leaving me with 10K left to hedge the rest of the way.

Its all about them making 3s, if they shoot just ok, they cant beat beat. If they shoot under 30% forget it.

I am thinking about putting 1K on BC on the ML Tomorrow...

Hopefully Georgetown can win, and be a +250 dog in the Memphis final, so I can put another $1000 on them to tryand get some back that way....

You might even middle the thing if The Cats win by 1 or 2 ... and you'll REALLY be in the driver's seat.

If Villanova wins by 3 ... that's ok too.

Why Try And Hedge Right Now.you Only Have 600 In The Play I Know Its Alot Of Money But You Are Talking About Putting A 1000 Bet On Another Team Just To Make Your Bet Seem Better.stick With What U Started With And Play A Little On The Other Team But Dont Go Putting A Grand On Another Team That Will Not Really Help Your Original Bet.if It Was The Final 4 I Would Do It Though. i have them also to win the thing but only to make $1500
so i am letting it ride.. no worries tomorrow nite, they run BC out of the gym, and i figure you know what nova is like, no need to worry about the so called size disadvantage. they hold their own and will again tomorrow.. BC and that boring flex offense, i see nova in the passing lanes all nite. nova is one of the nest defensive teams in the nation even though they are undersized.. i am hoping j fasier gets some minutes tomorrow and does well, i feel bad for him and his knee injuries, would like to see him make a difference in the run to a title..

I would bet against them everytime they are favorites because you can hit it in the middle starting with Elite 8. If they are not favorites I would bet to at least break even using the other teams M/L.
