In yesterdays game, with the score 3-3, Japan's player tags up from 3rd base with a fly ball to left field and is safe with the 4th run. The Catcher appeals the tag and the runner is still safe. The USA Coach runs out an makes an appeal that is over ruled as an out...The next inning the USA Team gets a base hit from Alex Rodriguez for the 4th run and the win..After watching the tag on instant replay, the runner clearly left the base after the catch. Looks like the refs continued were they left off in the World Series..
Taking the Runline is clearly the way to go in betting the WBC, after all 4 dogs with the runline covered....
