What do you guys think of Winthrop? I could see them potentially beating Tennesse then taking out Hall or Witchita. They’re the strongest #15 seed, and they’re playing the worst of the #2 seeds in Tennessee. Plus, they’ll be only 106 miles from home.

Also think Xavier has a decent chance at taking down the Zags. Arkansas will whip Bucknell and will be trouble for Memphis.

The committe made some odd seeding choices. Before the Big East Tournament, I would have said that Syracuse was a bubble team, and Pitt was probably a 3 seed. But then Pitt gets to the final, beating Villanova along the way and loses to Syracuse, and suddenly they are even? There is a pretty big difference between those two teams.

Just some early thoughts.
