Since I will probably be sitting on my ass a lot today I have decided to cap Nascar. I have a couple good excuses: It's raining outside(40 degrees) thats cold for Cali, I'm getting over a cold, and today's a big sporting day
Have fun today everyone. Let the madness begin.
Nascar Matchups: risking 20 golden coins on all.
Jimmie Johnson -193 over Jeff Gordon
Johnson won last year’s race at Las Vegas and has finished in the top 10 twice in four starts at the track. Gordon has three top five finishes (including a win at Las Vegas) but he has averaged an 18.3 finish in the last four trips to the track.
Kasey Kane +154 over Greg Bifle
Kahne finished second in the 2004 race and was running well last year before crashing. He was the second fastest car during testing at Vegas earlier this year. I expect a top 10 finish. Biffle has struggled in his races at Las Vegas. In two starts his average finish is 23rd place.
McMurray -217 over Sadler
McMurray has one top five finish in three starts and that was before he joined Roush. Sadler has been woeful on the Vegas’ track.
Mears -167 over Mayfield
Mears has always been strong at Las Vegas. He will finish in the top 10. Mayfield has struggled in the past few Vegas races and with his poor performances this season I'm going against him.
J. Johnson +117 over Biffle
Johnson won last year’s race at Las Vegas and has finished in the top 10 twice in four starts at the track.
