Word out of New York City has it that top runners in the NY area have placed big lumps of cash on Funny Cide (even) to win the Belmont Stakes and the Triple Crown.........
One of my friends has told me that a local book in NY received $10,000 from 2 local runners in the last half hour.
Now keep in mind, this is not the general public, $10,000 was wagered by just 2 gentlemen. Now I am led to believe that these guys know something that no one else knows because the whole world is on Empire Maker.
