A lot of the "experts" are selecting Funny Cide. Maybe because he is from NY. Or maybe it is because jockey Jose Santos' wife is hot as hell.

The Belmont will offer the toughest test of all. At 1 1/2 miles, it is the longest Triple Crown race, a distance not commonly run in the United States.

"I have no clue how he'll run a mile and a half, but I have a feeling he'll handle it rather easily," Tagg said. "So far he's proven he can do it, but adding another quarter-mile onto it, anything can happen."


Looks like a sloppy track today and the place will be rockin!!!

It is very difficult to win 3 times in 3 huge races in a 5 week span. With these other horses taking the Preakness off, it will make it even tougher. I would look for Empire Maker to win this one.
