    Sharp money showered on Toronto

    Wed, Mar 8, 2006

There’s been a 3-point line move for tonight’s game between the Toronto Raptors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Raptors are now 2-point home favorites after opening as 1-point underdogs.

“All of our money on Toronto is sharp money,” says Todd Allen of Bodog.com, “But the majority of the public is on Cleveland.”

LeBron James appeared fatigued at times in last night’s 106-99 home victory over the same Raptors. He had 17 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in 44 minutes while favoring a sore knee and ankle.

James’ big minutes have also contributed to Cleveland’s back-to-back woes this season. The Cavs own a 5-10-1 ATS record on zero days` rest, while the Raptors are 9-5.

Bettors might be keying on the words of Cavs coach Mike Brown, who expressed his concern for James` health in light of the overtime he`s been putting in this season. He didn`t say he was thinking about resting his star player, but he did acknowledge that the workload is taking its toll.

“Do I wish I was doing a better job of that? Yes,” Brown said. “But he`s young. I need him to play. We need him to play.”
"The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice.

This is what I have been saying---- Lebron needs rest- Thats why I took the Under last night- Lets see if it hits tonight Under 199.
Last night they roared out of the gate 60-52 and then slowed down in the 2nd half.

I hope the sharpies are right. I played Toronto because it's a next night payback game.

Clwveland may be tired already. They started off 14-6 and then Toronto closed out the quarter on a 22-5 run.

Missed this one...any opinion on Fordham?? Saw a real good caper on them, but seeing a HUGE public side on them as well...makes me want the Richmond side real bad...has been the trend as of late to take a side where public 'IS' heavily on one side...Vegas knows ALL...LOL

I guess Cleveland is on steroids. They opened up the second quarter on a 7-0 run.

Vinnie- Strange to have that much of a spike in the game.
Fordham is the better team and is coming off two wins over good teams --LaSalle and Temple. I like the spot for Fordham- Richmond may lose by 7 or more.

I know...I had SMISS cuz of the one sided-ness on Tulsa...and most would say Tulsa better than SMISS...so I think this just sets up the same...it's too easy to take Ford...and I think that's why so many on them...they may win SU, but I really think it could be a slam dunk for Vegas w/ a cover and maybe even a back door...LOL

Now watch them BLOW out Spiders after I went to this trouble of pointing out how everyone is on them...

BTW, 2-0-2 today so far...can u believe I pushed on SMU & ND...I guess better that the alternative...

                  GL SPEARIT!!
