Wow- the tourneys are warming up- we went 1-1 last night and hit on the abandoned N. Arizona game. I talk myself out of plays and they win- 2nd time in a week. 7-1-1 last nine plays not including N. Arizona-winner.

    I like:

10* Washington St. +3 over Oregon

Looky here:don't expect Oregon - a very young and inexperienced team to win 3 straight over a conference rival. Wash. St is a defensive team looking for offense that is true- But Oregon and WSU rank 152 and 153rd in the RPI standings respectively. 76 % of bettors are on Oregon- good!!! - I see a smart money play happening.

-WASHINGTON ST is 9-0 ATS (+9.0 Units) after a loss by 10 points or more over the last 2 seasons.
-OREGON is 0-6 ATS (-6.6 Units) off an upset loss as a favorite this season.

Previous two games between these teams:
Oregon's Malik Hairston nailed a 3-pointer from the left corner with four tenths of a second remaining in the game to give the Ducks a 52-50 win over the Cougars, Jan. 19 in Pullman. Oregon led 30-10 at halftime and rolled to a 67-37 win over Washington State in Eugene, Feb. 18.

Hate to be on the opposite side of you Spearit, and it's tough to beat a team 3 times in one season. Should be a good game, as in close game, good luck to you buddy.

Cougars get third quack at Oregon Ducks

The WSU men’s basketball team flashed its ability to play well and its ability to play poorly against Oregon this season.
The Cougars get to play them again today to start the Pac-10 Tournament.

If [the Ducks] get us this time, I’m obligated to be Ernie’s man-servant for the rest of my life,” WSU head coach Dick Bennett said of his counterpart, Oregon head coach Ernie Kent. (I believe he said bitch- but can't print that!)

The Cougars (11-16 overall, 4-14 Pac-10) found two very different ways to lose to Oregon (13-17, 7-11) this season. First, a last-second 3-pointer by Malik Hairston gave Oregon a win in Pullman. The second time the teams met, the Ducks demolished WSU by 30 points with hustle and hard-billed defense.

“I regard them as a very talented team in terms of physical ability, quickness and explosiveness,” Bennett said of Oregon. “They play a hard fast game, the way they should play, and we have trouble with that.”

Oregon is just the first mogul on a very long slope that is the Cougars’ road to any postseason play. Winning the Pac-10 Tournament is probably the only chance the team has, which means winning four games in five days.

In conference play this season, it took WSU 43 days to get four wins.

Today marks the eighth straight day the team has been away from Pullman. Instead of returning to campus after last week’s games in Arizona, the team opted to just go directly to Los Angeles for the tournament.

The Cougars are only in the tournament because of a change that now admits all 10 teams in the conference. In seasons past, just the top eight from the regular season made the trip to Los Angeles.
"The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice.
