Anyone taking book on the odds of Torre getting the boot before the season? Hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20, but give the guy a chance to control his own fate. 84 pitches, responsible for the runner at 1st, and still throwing decently. He will eventually win his 300th, so now it's more of a distraction. Get it and move on...

Again i agree Joe but is George really that stupid to let Torre go knowing the Red Sox would take him in a heartbeat? I don't think so but i would love to see it happen because i really hate Chicken Little on the Sox bench..... He is a HORRIBLE Manager.:angryfire :D

After all of the great years I don't think Steinbrenner would ever fire Torre;I think most of NY fans would be up in arms.
Torre ain't Billy Martin;he stays until/unless he retires or Yankees really go into tank.
