Wednesday's List of 13: 13 things to look for..........
The Field of 65 is announced at 6pm Sunday; here are things to look for between now and then, other than the pizza truck

        13) Does George Washington win its tournament? Only way Atlantic 14 gets two teams in, is if Colonials get upset.

        12) Syracuse-Cincinnati noon Wednesday. Orange need win over Bearcats, then an upset of UConn, to get in the field, in our opinion. They'll be lucky to upset hard-trying Bearcats.

        11) Arizona is playing without Hassan Adams, who has 169 more shots attempted than any other Wildcat, and plays 33.5 mpg. you don't easily replace a guy like that.

        10) How will Duke bounce back from consecutive losses?

        9) Can Long Beach State stay hot? 49ers are experienced, and they play fast, almost Westhead/LMU fast; they've won five games in row, and are the sleeper to pick to win Big West.

        8) Ratio of Missouri Valley to Colonial teams picked Sunday; I say four from Valley, two from CAA, I see a challenge series on ESPN for next December: MVC vs CAA.

        7) Can any of the not-so-great 8 at bottom of C-USA upset a top four team Thursday? Um, no.

        6) Will Air Force win its first conference tournament game? They're a 9-point favorite over Wyoming, so good chance, although Cowboys split with them this year.

        5) ESPN has Bucknell getting an #11 seed; they need to beat Holy Cross Friday; if they do, an 11 seems high to me, but I thought same thing about Vermont last year.

        4) Will WAC get more than one team? Nevada is best team; I don't see anyone other than Wolf Pack getting an at-large.

        3) Can Tennessee transfer its regular season success to post-season? Will Bruce Pearl wear that awful orange sportscoat?

        2) I am looking for Gonzaga's second round opponent; I think that team will be a surprise entry in the Sweet 16.

        1) Story of weekend will be if Mike Davis' Hoosiers make one last run for him in Big 11 tourney; Indiana won its last four in row; if they beat Badgers Friday, they're right on the bubble.
