I haven't posted much in the NBA this year. But I like this game tonight. When the Lakers beat the Pistons on Saturday, the Pistons were at the end of a 4-game road trip in six days. Lakers could really gain some momentum beating the best of the east and the best of the west in consecutive games. Not gonna happen tonight.

Spurs came through in the 2d half last night. I sure can't say the same about the Hornets. I don't know why they can't play 2d half basketball lately. They scored 16 points in the LAC game 2d half last week.

They have a DD lead at half last night at home against the Suns. then check out this stellar 2d half performance...they go 6:40 into the 2d half before they score a field goal (1 point in a little over the first half of the 3d quarter. Then they scorch the nets for 9 points in the 4th quarter. Brutal.

But I did have fun at the game...had the whole fam damily there...wife, sons, sons' girlfriends....dinner and drinks in Bricktown, NBA game, the whole 9 yards. Monday night in the big town as Gary England would say.

Was it pretty crowded at the game last night garth??

Not really, kb.. I was surprised. There were probably 17 or 18,000 there. But it wasn't a standing room only crowd like a lot of the other games in the Ford Center. Crowd was into the game first half. Then when the Hornets started the 2d half by not being able to throw the ball in the Ocean, there was a different atmosphere in the 2d half.
