Cats and Kennedy

I'm sorry guys this isn't a pick or anything. But I was coaching two basketball games today and missed the Cinn/WV game. The only program that I love even half as much as my beloved Sooners is the Cincinnati basketball program, always have. And by my own admission because of Huggins. I love the way he has always been and wasn't sure about Kennedy this year. But ooooh my god what a job. Especially given that Kirkland went down for the season and with all of Huggs troubles. But I will tell you what, Kennedy showed something today you don't often see in sports period........loyalty!!! The Bearcats are his team (and should be for a long time, because that job should be his) but he refused to turn his back on his mentor Huggins like that bitch president has. I hope the Cats make a great run in the tourney and Kennedy gets the job, because that guy is pure class! Oh, and where ever Huggs lands, I'll be following him too. May not be a model citizen, but one hell of a recruiter and coach! Remember they were Kenyon Martins broken leg from I think a National Championship!

soonerbud - I was at the game - actually on the floor sitting just across from Huggins for the 2nd half.
Andy Kennedy has done a tremendous job with this team and has shown a tremendous amount of loyalty, humility and class. The Bearcat fanbase would generally love for him to get the job and I personally wish he and Huggs the best regardless of where they land.

Cool moment today after the game before walking off the court, Kennedy grabbed the PA microphone and said
'We love you Huggs.'
Good guy and a good coach.

TCB, man that must have been GREAT! I have always loved the way the Bearcats carry themselves and I attribute that to Huggs! And I agree, man that president must be crazy if she doesn't give Kennedy that job! I hope that they have one hell of a run in the NCAA's. So you obviously live in Cincy?
