The first game to be played is at 12 Eastern so I will take this op to post my choices.
I may be a great fade since in my last CAA posts I took it in the shorts losing all 3 but I haven't lost a CAA bet since WOOOOHOOOOO ( I haven't bet any though )
I must also point out that (IMO) tournaments are not good investments 'cause ANYTHING can happen so I play them smaller.....
Here goes
Delaware +8' over Drexel
This is a Rivalry game people. Both teams have been struggling offensively all year. I think Drexel wins the game.
Northeatern - 16 over James Madison (Best Bet)
I do expect NE to come out strong and play well in their first CAA tourney. JMU is a young team an will be like a deer in the headlights.
Georgia St +2 over Towson (Good Bet)
Two evenly matched teams here. Towson has played extremely well w/out Gary Neal who returns in this game. He is not 100% and still is wearing an aircast when not practicing. His practice time is limited and I truly feel he ma be a distraction to Towson.
William and Mary +13 over VCU
This was my toughest to decide on. I simply think that VCU relies so heavily on the three and they will have problems knocking them down with the regularity they need to BLOW this team out. None of these CAA teams have played in the Richmond Coliseum this year. It is a bigger gym than any CAA team plays in and that will hurt teams that shoot lots of Threes.
