I said last week that I lost and wouldn't bet it anymore. You said don't quit, I said OK I won't if you tell me how to bet this. You said OK, just watch, I will....I think that's the way it went. Oh well... It doesn't matter. I try not to bet things that I don't know much about or how to bet it. It looked like Gordon was a good bet last week, so I took him and lost. I lost once or twice last year when I tried. So, that's why I asked for the help....

Kaz, When i said i will that meant see what i post and bet it. There really isn't any explanation beyond that. I didn't have the winner this week so you were lucky not to play but beyond that you just bet the guys to win that i post or one guy to finish ahead of another as posted. I can't explain it much more than i did.
Glad I went with Vickers instead (even though he finished 19th)
Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!
not that wayne needs me here to defend him, but he is right on the ball. This nascar stuff is for the long haul not the quick hit. Most weeks there is only a handfull of cars who should win, based on qualifying times, car set-up etc. I have, as has wayne made a lot of $ off of racing, but you need to assess over the whole year, not one week, or two. One win in the next few weeks and you are ahead with your nascar.
wayne, it has been a long week, but your winners in arena last night and today were saviors. They changed a disastorous week into a wash. thanks, and all the best

You're right on the money buddy. I used to say and it's true, one winner every 4-5 weeks makes you a profit over the course of a season!
had martin and stewart today, looked good for awhile but alas, time to start looking ahead. Biffle had the best car, but like with a meaningless trey at the buzzer, ala the Knicks Fri. the right guy doesn't always win. . . and that's why they call it gambling. Looking forward to next week. all the best

GL Buddy. Take next week off. There is no race until Vegas in 2 weeks!
I guess what I meant was, I don't bet big bucks, so betting on 5 guys in one week and then two or three matchups is a lot to bet and a big hit on my bank roll.
Not knowing that I should bet all or none, I was picking one or two of the guys you had capped. I guess that's not good strategy. That's why I was asking how to bet this. Now you've explained and now, if I chose, I will bet it the way you said to.
Just like in hoops, I don't bet every game someone lists if I decide to tail that capper. But you say this is how to bet it, so that's maybe the advice I needed to know....Thanks

If you look around though you will notice nobody picks one or 2 guys in racing. It's not like a basketball game where you have 2 options. There are 43 cars and you have to put some money out there to get some back. You also, when you do cash, make a +1000 payout or a little higher or lower which totally offsets the other lost units and puts a big chunk in your pocket.
If you bet 4 guys at $10 each risking $40 and one wins at +1000, you make $70 on the race paying for the nexts 2 weeks if you don't win money in either of them. If you can't risk any money than it's not worth betting because you have to, to win!
