Any insight or advice???

Is there any rule of thumb to follow on when to put your games in? Do most of you wait until just before games, or put in the night before? I'm having a difficult time trying to guess which lines will go up or go down. Obviously it is impossible to predict everytime, but is there a "norm?"

Does the line usually go move towards the "public teams" like Duke closer to game time?

Does the line move towards the home team closer to gametime?

Just looking for any edge on when to put in, thanks.

I usually wait until an hour or so before tip so that I can get a decent idea as to what the line movement is. If this is not possible I usually bet the night before, mostly on the fav. hoping that is the best the line will be.
