I'm 0-2 on the week thanks to the Bucks fourth quarter meltdown Tuesday night. These early post-All Star games are tricky because some teams show radical improvement after the break but you can't tell who they are until a few games are being played. I'm guessing, however, my team tonite is one of them.
1* Pacers +9 1/2
Indiana won six of of seven on its just concluded long home stand, culminated with a blowout Tuesday of a good Hornets team. The Pacers are primed for a strong run. True, Detroit is 24-2 at home but only an average 14-12 ATS. At some point, Saunders' overuse of his starters (they all play 35 minutes every night) will catch up him just as it did all those years he went into the playoffs in Minnesota with a burnt out team. I do think Detroit wins tonite but this is too many points.
(note: I got this line at royal but most places only have +9, which I still feel is very playable; my own personal line on this game is detroit -4)
