There are about 15 people with their picks in and on the spreadsheet so far. That means nothing though because it was the same last year and we ended up with 100 players. I didn't push it nearly as hard locally this year and we seem to have a few less BC members than last year too. It's surprising to me that some of the long time BC members who post daily don't play. $25 for every day fun for the next 7 months is really cheap fun. It makes even the worst matchups on T.V. give you some sort of rooting interest if you don't have a wager on it!

I doubt we will have 100 but we should have a good turnout either way!

I sent you an email. I've been in pools like this before and it's sometimes hard NOT to let your picks here influence your actually betting. You don't like betting against your teams and if your not careful, you can start treating the pool as being more important than your indivdual plays.

I see what you are saying but in the 2 previous years i've done this, i can say it hasn't influenced my wagers once. I don't even think about the pool teams until Sunday when i do the standings UNLESS there is a game on that i didn't wager on, then i will cheer for my pool team!
