Making a selection today and not listening to my inner voice that says hmmmmmm.....something stinks in Denmark!
Hofstra -5 @ William and Mary...
The stinky part is Hofstra is not as strong a road team. They are working off a short rest following a Bracket Buster win vs. Siena where they shot 70% in the second half. And the line @ -5 (which opened at 4) seems a BIT short...
However this is a MUST win game for the Pride. They need to win 2 of their last 3 to guarantee a top 4 spot in the conference. And with a game vas. George Mason up next and another vs. Drexel afterward. THEY NEED TO TAKE THIS ONE.
*****note** the top 4 teams get a very important bye in the opening round of the CAA Tourney, which plays all games on consecutive days.
Hofstra is 1 win away from a 20 win season. They have won and covered 5 straight vs. W&M.
W&M has lost 6 SU as a dog and 5 of their last 6 ATS as a dog. In all but 2 of their last 10 games W&M has taken the majority of the money, indicated by the line opening vs. closing. (staying the same vs. Old Dom and James Mad).
