I posted about six NASCAR races last year but didn't keep a running record. I generally use only one or two drivers and did win last year's Daytona with Gordon.
This year:
2 units Jeff Gordon +400
He's won the race three times, had a fast qualifying time and won one of the 150 mile races Thursday. He's obsessed with having a better season after missing the chase last year and has improved his pit crew after grousing to owner Hendrick about so many of his guys being sent over to other drivers in the team. Deserving favorite.
1 unit Kyle Busch 15-1
Stick with the Hendrick drivers----they're excellent on restrictor plate tracks and this Busch (don't confuse him w/brother Kurt) had a fast qualifying time and was one of the hotter drivers at the end of last season.
1 unit Carl Edwards 15-1
The Fords all qualified well and Edwards is a very aggressive driver who will have a shot if he's close at the end. Edwards and Kenseth are the best Ford drivers on the circuit right now.
1 unit The Field 20-1
Most books are listing only 24 drivers. This gives you 19 drivers at a juicy price. However!!!!!---Play only if Bobby Labonte is listed as a "field" driver. The Petty team hired him away and hired a top crew chief and mechanic as they try to bring the 43 team back to glory. I'm really playing Labonte here and the other 18 are a bonus at an inflated price.

Drivers I'm not using but am afraid of: Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton. These are the Richard Childress drivers and his team excels at restrictor plate tracks. Burton has the fastest qualifying time and is on the pole.
