your prolly wondering why i'm on Albany right???

-Here's how i see it. Albany comes into this game @ 11-2 in conference winning 6 straight games.

-They've played 2 teams that are far superior to VCU this year and gave them both a run for their money. They played Florida gators, yes thats right BHS your gators, they hung around well in the 1st half. Then they traveled to paulie pavilion and lost to UCLA by only 8 and were as close as 3pts with under 5 min left in the ball game.

-Albany G Jamar Wilson is no joke. The guy can play. I've been to a couple Albany games here this year and the guy is good. IMO he will be the best player on the court tomorrow night.

-Also note Albany head coach Will Brown is playing for a contract. His contract expires @ the end of the year. He wants a long term deal. This has been talked about for months now in the local papers. Nothing would be better than to get your schools 1st national TV victory.

-Bracket buster weekend, this game is gonna be hard for VCU to get up for. What do they gain by this game??? ZERO they can lose and still win their conference and get ncaa or nit bid. If albany wins it thrusts them into big dance spotlight and clearly will make them the class of the america east. Even though VCU isnt in the America East. then even with a close defeat they could still get into the NIT.

bottom line is, there is much more for Albany to gain, and alot less for VCU to lose in this matchup. Getting +8.5 points IMO is a gift.

sounds good man. I just really think you are getting tremendous value with a team that no one knows JACK about that travels well. I believe this # is high cause people dont know jack about albany and they know everyone will take VCU regardless
