I'm struggling, having lost three in a row with a loser on the Nets Friday night. I like both of these plays, but do be aware I've hit an air pocket.
1* Pacers +5 1/2
Battle of two hot teams and I'll take the home dog in an early game. Spurs are playing their sixth road game in a row on their rodeo road trip (they lose their home court for more than two weeks) and while they've won the previous the travel will catch up to them. The Pacers are hot since the arrival of Stojakovic and have won four in a row. This is their fifth home game in a row and they catch points besides.

Controversial pick, I admit. Miami lost by nearly 40 (!) Friday night but I look for a recovery here in the national TV game. It is always hard to go against the Pistons but Miami as a dog is hard to resist. The Heat was playing very well before the debacle in Dallas.
