  • $ Wagered on Super Bowl in Vegas

Someone probably already posted this but I just came across it... enjoy

LOS ANGELES, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Super Bowl betting rose to $94.5 million in Nevada this year, but casinos in the state kept a smaller share of the total, the state's Gaming Control Board said on Tuesday.

Nevada casinos won $8.8 million in wagers on the Feb. 5 contest between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks, won by the Steelers 21-to-10. Last year, the casinos posted $15.4 million in winnings from bets totaling $90.8 million.

In the last 10 years, the casinos' lowest take was 1998's $472,033 on $77.3 million in wagers on the game in which Denver beat Green Bay by a score of 31-to-24.
Thank you Ryan Howard! <--- ITS A WINNER!

I'm sure that's not an official numbers. They certainly took in more last year then 15 million and thats a fact. That just figures they throw out there but it much much more. They always will come out winners in big games, so saying sports is fixed i never saw Vegas take a fucking hit and i know there was plenty of talk about Vegas taking a hit over the NFL season this year but i don't believe that shit. They try to cause a winning atmosphere so people can bet more.
