in all honesty i dont think vegas has a part in this type of gambling. They want all these illegal book makers and mob guys cleaned out of the business. Vegas looks for people who come in and drop huge coin on a random game 1 time. Big players that bet high amounts all the time dont bother vegas. Its when some joe schmo walks in and drops 50k on a game hits and dont come back that sends a red flag. Or a guy going around town throwing 5k @ 20 different casinos on the same game.

in ncaa football just this year the MAC conference was watched very closely by vegas casinos for this very reason. Someone (not vegas) had info and was altering the outcome of the MAC conference weeknight games. whether its a ref, coach, player or whomever. If you think i'm kidding ck for yourself i think their is articles on this.

I have been saying this for over 5 Years. Anyone that thinks some games aren't set to go one way or the other. Needs to just watch one NBA Basketball game.

Money Talks no matter where it comes from.

On a serious note...Vegas does not lose.Period.If you want to win, just go against the greatest action on any team any night...in other words, pretend you are Vegas, and bet against the team, side, total the public moves towards...go opposite...take the same team Vegas has the most money on.
Example:67% wagers on Duke to win ML/ 65% wagers on Duke -5.....=Take North Carolina +5=Winner.You have to be able to go against the side of your brain that has "common sense".
Track the line movement.Wait till the late bell, than bang it.
Of course, it doesn't work everytime,or I wouldn't be here at work,(most likely I would be laying in the sun somewhere with Gretzky's wife), however on a long term basis this will win.

Mobs have been in existinse since the 20's with sports players being involved.....And just because John Gotti got grabbed years ago never changed anything....Hey young kids go ask your dads and grandfathers about all this...I'm sure they can tell you alot more stories...Mine have...They are here to stay as long as gambling is and new players come into the leagues every year...They get suckered in by the women who are hired to help players getting a taste...Most mob are the people who all your locals turn their money into, not vegas...
