> Offensive PI? = you can't tell me the Seattle receiver didn't extend his arm out straight to push away from the defender. He did, and the ref called it immediately. THAT'S a penalty!
>Phantom hold on a big conversion to 1 yd line? = THAT was holding if there ever was. He almost tackled the rusher by the shoulder pad. The offensive lineman had is arms out beyond his body = HOLDING!
> Same play no offsides call? = He wasn't offsides! He timed the snap perfectly, and when the ball was snapped, he was not offsides! Watch the replay!
> Catch and fumble Seattle ball still? = Maybe a fumble. It all happened in less than 1 second. That's a judgement call - could have gone either way.
> Ben TD? = all the tip of the ball has to do is touch a white blade of grass on the very front of the goal line! Ben was in the air, and that was a close call, but it looked as if the dark shadow in Ben's arms (assuming it was the ball) did touch the front of the white line = TD! They didn't overturn it, did they?
> Hold on big punt runback that instant replay couldn't show? = they showed it! A Steeler defender got tackled right at the very end of the return. In fact, the guy who got held landed on the return man. They threw the flag right at the pile up! = holding!!
> Chop block called on someone tackling? = THAT'S an illegal block below the waste! On an interception return, the offensive player can only go below the knees on the man with the ball! Hasselback went low onthe front blocker trying to take him out so others could make the tackle. You CANNOT do that = penalty! They'll call that EVERY time!
> Play clock never hit zero phantom timeout? = there's one I may have to agree with you on. Looked like it went to'0'.
> O-Lineman 10 yds downfield on 3 & 6th = You can go 20 yards down-field if you stay engaged with your man! Period! And even if you go down the minute you become disengaged, you're still good! Those are the rules!!
> Non chop-block call on Ben on big end-around play?= NO, it wasn't a chop block! Watch the replay!
> Corrected Hassleback fumble? = Yes, THAT was NOT a fumble. They got the call right at the end! The Steeler had a hand on Hasselback as he was going down, thus, the ground can't cause the fumble!
Nt sure what you're whining and bitching about. Sure, there are close calls, but there were also 2 defensive holding / illegal contact calls, plus an obvious block in the back on Rothlesburger during that big INT return that WERE NOT called against Seattle. If that clip is called, Seattle probably doesn't score the 1 TD they did get!
Bitch, bitch, bitch. There were WAAYYYY worse officiated games in the play-offs than this one! This one wasn't bad at all, and they did get MOST of the calls correct! (unless you lost $$$ on Seattle, then every single call was against you). LMFAO!!Last edited by slappy's son; 02-07-2006, 06:01 PM.

You are in complete denial and even though i didnt bet it I KNOW FOR A FACT it was officiated horribly...Yet the steelers won and nothing can change thatQuitters Never Win, Winners Will NEVER Quit

Did anyone see Letterman last night with Ben? Someone told me today that during the interview, Ben was telling host that after "TD?", Ben went to Cowler and told him he didn't think he got in. I didn't see it would appreciate any feedback from someone who did (who has working eyes/ears!!) :christmasPre-ban 1-0 (+1.00)

Ben said last night on Letterman that he didn't score a td and that will they over ruled it...He was going to dive over the middle for the half inch needed on 4th down....By the way he told me to tell you he's enjoying the 4 million he made in endorsements the last 2 days...:christmasLast edited by ChuckLazar; 02-07-2006, 06:21 PM.

Who really gives a fuck what the majority thinks anyway. Whats done is done. If you and the majority think that way good for all of you. What do you want from us Steeler fans?
An apology for playing a game. The Steelers didnt throw 1 flag, the Steelers didnt penalize the Hawks. All they did was play football, its certainly not the Steelers fault or problem. If it will make all of you Hawks backers feel better; on behalf of all the Steeler fans here at BC i friggin apologize that the Refs fucked you out of your money and out of watching a correctly officiated game. I mean this when i say this, I am trully sorry that this game had to be like it was.Questions, comments, complaints:
