If end official who called a TD was so sure, why was he walking in to spot the ball, yet called a TD after he saw ball in end zone? He was clearly not in for a TD at end of play. If he saw the ball crossing the line earlier, he would have called TD earlier.

I agree. The initial reaction of the ref certainly was not to call TD. I don't know how he called the TD, if his first reaction was not to. The second effort call was terrible since Ben was certainly down by that point. Knee, hip, ass, elbows all down on the ground.
