These are my first posted plays since Sunday's win with the Cavs. I'm now 20-7 my last 27 in the NBA.
1* Nuggets +2 1/2
True, Denver has lost three in a row but played well down the stretch in Sacramento against a pumped up Kings team. Denver is now healthy after a rash of injuries all year. The Jazz have been just awful, having lost five of their last six and aren't scoring much. Road dog wins SU.
1* Blazers +8 1/2
People don't like to bet against the Spurs but this is a good spot. The Blazers had a big road win two nites ago in Seattle and are playing deceptively well. They had won four in a row before close home losses to Denver and Dallas before throwing in a clunker Saturday nite in Golden State. But they bounced right back with a road win over Seattle and are catching a lot of points for a home dog. San Antonio won the first game of its long road trip but that was against Utah which, as mentioned above, is lousy right now.
Opinions only: Bobcats (I strongly believe they win but I will not make a strong play a team that has lost a zillion in a row), Wizards
