Just got home- so I am looking it over now. I am taking care to look over the entire card and give you my best bets on the games tonight.

Western Kentucky - 6 --No Play

Oh I wish I could push the button on W. Kentucky- Clearly the better team by a long shot- so why the line. These two teams have played La Lafayette and new Orleans each in the last two games. W. Kentucky clearly kicked ass and FIU just gets past them.
In looking up FIU - they have started team practices at 6:30 AM now in the morning and has won 2 games and put their 11 losses behind them
So what- the RPI clearly indicates a 13 or so point victory- what holds you back.

Just this trend and thinking what do the linesman know that I don't. I can tell you that guard/forward Lee of WKU has a hip contusion (bruise) but WKU wears down its opponents with a very deep roster.

Horn is 0-10 ATS (-11.0 Units) off a win by 10 points or more over a conference rival as the coach of W KENTUCKY.
    The average score was W KENTUCKY 74.0, OPPONENT 75.5 - (Rating = 6*)

              On Depaul vs Georgetown

              Georgetown-5.5 ----No Play

Clearly the better team is Georgetown with Depaul struggling this year. RPI favors Georgetown.

But trends that are hard to look past when betting solid cash-
DEPAUL is 8-1 ATS (+6.9 Units) as a home underdog or pick over the last 3 seasons.
              The average score was DEPAUL 73.0, OPPONENT 66.6 - (Rating = 1*)
DEPAUL is 8-1 ATS (+6.9 Units) as a home underdog of 6 points or less or pick over the last 3 seasons.
              The average score was DEPAUL 73.0, OPPONENT 66.6 - (Rating = 1*)

                  on UConn vs Pitt

                  Pitt +9

UConn enjoys a level of difference in this game. Both are rated high in the RPI. Uconn has shown to have trouble with Pitt as it lost to them last. If anyone knows how to play UConn -it is Pitt. UConn enjoys a comfortable offensive rebound edge but -9 against this type of competition. We need to look further.

PITTSBURGH is 9-1 ATS (+7.9 Units) as a road underdog or pick over the last 3 seasons.
                  The average score was PITTSBURGH 70.7, OPPONENT 62.5 - (Rating = 2*)
PITTSBURGH is 12-3 ATS (+8.7 Units) off 2 or more consecutive home wins over the last 3 seasons.
                  The average score was PITTSBURGH 72.7, OPPONENT 58.0 - (Rating = 1*)

CONNECTICUT is 6-0 ATS (+6.0 Units) in home games when playing against a team with a winning record after 15 or more games over the last 2 seasons.
                  The average score was CONNECTICUT 79.3, OPPONENT 68.5 - (Rating = 1*)
CONNECTICUT is 6-0 ATS (+6.0 Units) versus good passing teams, averaging >=16 assists/game after 15+ games over the last 2 seasons.
                  The average score was CONNECTICUT 79.8, OPPONENT 72.0 - (Rating = 1*)

I bring your attention to the points in these trends. Pitt enjoys a comfortable margin winning as an away dog and like wise UConn enjoys a comfortable margin at home.
This makes me believe the game is tighter than the posted -9 UConn and so I take Pitt in this one.

Great write-ups Spear. I talked myself out of every game you talked about.....even Pitt. But I think 9 pts is entirely too many pts to be giving a team like Pitt. Hope it comes through for you!!!

I know many of you may be considering Georgetown and they may wallop em well- but did you know that Depaul has come back twice this season after embarrassing losses and beat California and Notre Dame.
Yes - I will post SMP if I get any.
